1. Client Discovery
This is a complimentary introductory conversation to determine if executive coaching is the right fit for both parties.
2. Establishing Goals
Here we identify and develop personal and professional goals to be worked on through coaching. In subsequent coaching conversations, we also review the results from client’s assessments and 360 feedback reports.
3. Identify the Gaps
Increase greater self awareness in what their blind spots are in their professional and career development.
4. Troubleshoot Challenges
This is an opportunity for the client to discuss specific challenges that he/she would like to receive coaching on.
5. Leverage the Client's Strengths
Here my role is to explore, encourage and empower the client on what it looks like to leverage his/her strengths through the specific issues and challenges occurring in the moment.
6. Offer Feedback
This can vary from affirming the client to needing to reframe their perspective, offer advice, coaching, support, or even pushback.
7. Co-Create Action Plans
A set of action plans are developed during each coaching session to achieve the client’s list of goals. Action plans can often challenge the client to push beyond his/her comfort zone.
8. Provide Accountability
Each new coaching session begins with a status update on previous action plans to hold client accountable for impacting the change they want to achieve.
